If in the family space, choosing Mono sound to watch movies or listen to music is the wisest choice.

Mono sound gives identical sound even if there are multiple sources in a sound system. When you use a karaoke microphone connected to a smartphone, the sound received from that source will definitely be Mono and no matter how many speakers you use, the sound received will still be Mono.

Stereo sound gives the feeling that the sound emitted from both speakers is different. Especially in orchestras or songs with drums, you will hear this effect most clearly. Besides, it will also give listeners a more diverse and better sound experience than when both speakers emit the same signal.

How does Stereo sound quality compare to Mono sound?

Therefore, depending on preferences and usage habits, some people will prefer Stereo speakers and vice versa, some people will choose Mono sound to satisfy their passion for music.

How to Convert Mono Audio to Stereo

Method 1:  Install 2  Equalizer circuits  > divide each channel to increase some frequencies, and decrease some other frequencies.

The downside of this method is that it will make the sound out of tune and reduce the authenticity. For example, if your right speaker increases the frequencies 100, 1000, 10000 and reduces the frequencies 30, 300, 3000, then the left speaker will increase the sounds 30, 300, 3000 and reduce the sounds 100, 1000, 10000, making the sound out of tune and not authentic.

Method 1

Method 2:  Install the circuit as above > Change the phase angle. This method will create a spacious sound effect. However, the Stereo effect and moving sound effect will reduce clarity.
